Natimby Lodges
Inspired by the innovations in architecture and (low carbon footprint) cross laminated timber, the low lodges on Natimby offer an immersive living experience that combines comfort and a deep connection to sustainable living.

The guest bedroom converts to a study encouraging guests to stay longer – a live work and play experience in a community of family managed wine, dairy and grain farms.

The open air and naturally heated hot tub in the central atrium is a feature that you will have to share with friends on the weekends.

A short drive up or around the valley will take you to a selection of 12 wineries, seven restaurants and coffee shops. The unique Cornelskop Wildlife experience, the world-famous whales of Hermanus and the recently launched Camino are within half a scenic hour’s drive.

STUART FAMILY VINEYARDS
Using compost from the farm’s large scale compost project, the Syrah and Chenin Blanc vineyards on Natimby are farmed regeneratively – soil microbes and pest predators are encouraged to proliferate and coexist with our vines producing wines that, each year, are truly a product of nature.

Limited volumes of wines are sold by allocation to a growing family of friends – not customers. A family tradition and culture of sharing our land, our wines and a very special lifestyle.

ABOUT US
Fiery sunrises casting ever changing glow of early morning light over the valley and mountains and the sound of crystal-clear spring water flowing from the Houw Hoek Mountains was all the land had to offer when Peter and Sue Stuart, were fortunate to discover a neglected but idyllic 130 Hectares of land in the Bot River Vally in 2002.
With generations of regenerative farming experience, the family embarked on an ambitious plan to transform the landscape of alien invasive trees into an extraordinarily beautiful and sustainable lifestyle Estate.
Endemic species of birds, frogs and wildlife have now returned and thrive in the areas of natural fynbos, wetlands, flowing streams and carefully constructed dams.

Mountain bike on the 700km of mountain bike trails or take a timeless walk and soak up the silence. A swim in crystal clear waters in the heat of the summer, an afternoon of polo a glass of wine and a mesmerizing show of magical colours of the setting sun on the Babylonstoren Mountains.
